Sean Farrell

Sean Farrell is our Vice President of Operations. Sean is a Bay Area native and started with City Lights SF working in our Light Bulb Department after graduating with a Business Degree from San Diego State. Having accumulated on-the-ground retail experience prior to joining the City Lights SF family, Sean quickly rose through the ranks becoming a vital part of City Lights SF's success story picking up and learning nearly every aspect of the business along the way.

Sean was integral in coordinating City Lights SF's move from our legacy central location to our new showroom and has facilitated the company’s expansion into the e-commerce realm. He supervises City Lights SF's talented group of sales professionals as well as the company’s extensive support staff in addition to being connected with leading lighting industry luminaries, he also works with area contractors, designers, real estate agents and individual clients as well. His familiarity with available product not only includes the basics, but extends into logistics, delivery, installation, product compatibility and quality. Sean is a valuable resource both to the City Lights SF family internally, but also to the lighting industry writ large.

When Sean is not working with Tina, clients, sale representatives or otherwise, he’s home with his wife and their two young children in Marin County, having abought a mid-century home there, which proves to be a good retreat, home and proving ground for light fixtures of course. .

When not keeping the City Lights SF machine well oiled, he loves riding his bike, fishing, golf, pickle ball and spending time with his family.
